There is a lot to do in Old Orchard Beach and we have fun working together and hanging out together when we are not at work. We love hosting students and try to have one group party each month. We know you will be busy working and having fun, so we try to keep your interest and your schedule in mind when we are planning fun group activities. In year’s past, we’ve had pizza parties, American BBQ’s, lobster bakes and picnics."
Job Position Details
Description of position:
The Front Desk Clerk will learn front office skills within a professional environment.
You will be responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This is a highly visible role and gives the opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience.
Guest service skills will be developed and refined and participants will gain knowledge of front office operations within the department.
Job duties include working in Reception area greeting guests, handling reservation requests on the telephone, check-in, check-out, processing deposits and payments and providing guests information and suggestions about the local area.
Excellent English language skills are required due to heavy guest interaction and telephone reservations.
Specific qualifications required:
Participant must have excellent customer service skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, have high degree of computer skills and customer interaction.
Fluent English language skills required due to intensive customer interaction in person and by telephone. Must be able to speak English with customers, perform check guests in, answer phones.

Transportation is also convenient with a local Amtrak train stop in Old Orchard Beach and a city bus and local trolley stop right outside the hotel.
