49th State Brewing Company and Restaurant is located in downtown Anchorage. This brand new restaurant is a multi-level restaurant with roof top outdoor seating, a banquet hall and also has a full functioning brewery on premise. This is an exciting, fun, fast paced work environment in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Job Position Details
Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift 50lbs. Must have previous experience in the kitchen or a keen interest in culinary arts. No limitations or food allergies. Must be ok with working with pork. Must be able to read recipes, communicate clearly and understand measurements.
Responsibilities include preparing cold foods, slicing vegetables, meats, preparing menu items in accordance to recipes, and many other tasks designated by the Kitchen Manager. Prep cooks are responsible to maintain the area they work in and must adhere to the cleanliness and sanitation policies in place. Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift 50lbs.
Must have previous experience in the kitchen or a keen interest in culinary arts. Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written. Some experience in positions involving food preparation is normally preferred for this job or interest in working in a kitchen.
